Prague PHIR is a yearbook publishing studies on the history of the international relations. It is edited jointly by the Institute of World History, Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, Charles University, Prague and the Institute of East European History, Faculty of Historical and Cultural Sciences, University of Vienna.

The yearbook originated in the year 1997 as an independent periodical of the Institute of World History, Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, Charles University, Prague. Since the year 2006 it started a successful cooperation with the University of Vienna. Thanks to this there was an considerable increase of authors and articles. Thirty-three historians from thirteen universities and scientific institutions from whole world contributed in the volume 2008. The articles are published in English, French, German, Russian and Spanish. Optimal length of the study is 25-35 pages.

Consulting board is composed of prominent historians from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Slovakia, and the United States of America.
