  • Early modern travel writing and discourse of travel
  • Mental mapping concept
  • Symbolic borders from the viewpoint of an early modern traveller, with special concern for Western traveller in Eastern Europe.
  • Travel writing as a historical source – methodological approach and using in cultural history
